Rabu (13\/5\/2026), SMP Negeri 2 Salatiga mengikuti kegiatan Sosialisasi Keamanan Pangan untuk Komunitas Sekolah yang diselenggarakan oleh Balai Besar POM di Semarang secara daring melalui Zoom Meeting. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh perwakilan kepala sekolah, guru, serta siswa dari berbagai sekolah dan madrasah di Kota Salatiga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Melalui sosialisasi ini, peserta diajak memahami pentingnya memilih dan mengonsumsi pangan yang aman, sehat, dan bergizi. Materi yang disampaikan meliputi kiat mengenal pangan aman, pemahaman informasi nilai gizi, hingga implementasi Program Makan Bergizi Gratis di satuan pendidikan. Kegiatan berlangsung interaktif dengan sesi pre-test, post-test, dan diskusi bersama narasumber dari BBPOM di Semarang dan BPMP Jawa Tengah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bagi para siswa, kegiatan ini menjadi pengalaman belajar yang dekat dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Mereka tidak hanya mendapatkan wawasan tentang keamanan pangan, tetapi juga diajak lebih bijak dalam memilih jajanan dan memahami pentingnya budaya hidup sehat di lingkungan sekolah. Hal sederhana seperti mengecek kemasan, label, izin edar, dan tanggal kedaluwarsa menjadi perhatian yang terus ditekankan selama kegiatan berlangsung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Melalui partisipasi dalam kegiatan ini, SMP Negeri 2 Salatiga berharap budaya konsumsi pangan aman dapat semakin tumbuh di lingkungan sekolah.
